Córdoba (Argentina)
Córdoba is the second most populous city in Argentina after Buenos Aires. It's located in the central part of the country, in the foothills of the Sierras Chicas.
Here you can visit many historical monuments, such as the Jesuit Block, declared in 2000 as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Another important building in the city is the National University of Córdoba, Argentina's oldest university that was founded in 1613 by the Jesuit Order. Walking through the center of Córdoba, near Martin Square, you will find the Jesuit cathedral. Next to the church, you can see the Cabildo (colonial government house), another important historic building of the city.
